Swedish director duo John and Björn met at a film production company and connected through a shared music interest. However, instead of starting a band they began shooting promos for bands and artists, finding success with award-winning music videos and documentaries. Creating their own production company Is This It and shifting their focus toward narrative projects, they began writing and directing short films, mainly in the thriller and horror genre. THE EFFECT WILL LAST FOREVER (2015), LET ME RUN (2016) and PARALYS (2017) are all suspenseful short films with a dark visual mood. Their latest short film HULDRA (2021) is a stand alone short film but also a proof of concept for what they hope will be their feature debut.
