Malai Cake Serves 7-8 Recipe in English: Ingredients: Prepare Milk Malai Syrup: -Doodh (Milk) 3 Cups -Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp -Condensed milk ¾ Cup -Olper’s dairy cream 200ml (room temperature) Prepare Cake: -Anday (Eggs) 5 -Bareek cheeni (Caster sugar) 3/4 Cup or to taste -Vanilla essence 2 tsp -Baking powder 2 tsp -Cooking oil ½ Cup -Soji (Semolina) 3 tbs -Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 1 Cup -Pista (Pistachios) sliced -Badam (Almonds) sliced Directions: Prepare Milk Malai Syrup: -In a wok,add milk & bring it to boil. -Add cardamom powder and condensed milk,mix well & cook on medium flame until it reduces to half quantity and keep mixing in between. -On low flame,add olper’s cream,whisk well and cook until it slightly thickens (approx. 2-3 minutes) & let it cool. Prepare Cake: -In bowl,add eggs,caster sugar and beat well (approx. 2-3 minutes). -Add vanilla essence,baking powder,cooking oil and beat for 2 minutes. -Add semolina,all-purpose flour and beat again. -Grease baking dish with cooking oil and pour prepared batter. -Bake in preheated oven at 170 C for 30-35 minutes. -Take out cake from oven & let it cool completely. -Using a wooden skewer,poke holes all over the top of the cake. -Slowly pour prepared milk malai syrup over the top of the cake,filling holes. -Refrigerate until chilled. -Garnish with pistachios,almonds & serve! Prepare Cake: -Bowl mein anday aur bareek cheeni dal ker ache tarhan beat ker lein (approx. 3 minutes). -Vanilla essence,baking powder aur cooking oil dal dein aur 2 minute kliya beat karein. -Soji aur maida dal dein aur dubara beat ker lein. -Baking dish ko cooking oil sa grease karein aur tayyar batter dal dein. -Preheated oven mein 170 C per 30-35 minutes kliya bake ker lein. -Cake ko oven sa nikal lein aur thanda ker lein. -Wooden skewer ki madad sa cake per holes ker lein. -Tayyar milk malai syrup ko cake ka upper dal dein aur holes ko fill ker lein. -Thanda hunay tak refrigerate ker lein. -Pista aur badam sa garbish ker ka serve karein!
